There are a few people who side with Dyer and these people somehow think the onus is on the "haters" to prove this is a hoax. I have more sad news for you.
The onus is on Rick Dyer to prove his claims. He made those claims, nobody else did. "be patient, wait and see" you say? At every turn Rick has delayed, stalled and made excuses for prolonging this sad one man show.
Dyer blames "haters" for all the delays, or something happens that's out of the control of Rick. Wow, haters must be powerful. We can slow down the release of the biggest discovery of the modern age. Seriously? Who on this planet would believe this?
No sane, rational person would, that's for sure.

Rick Dyer said he shot and killed a bigfoot. This is his claim. Like I said above he has not proven it to everyone so far and that he still needs to. This I do not dispute.
We have certain facts or evidence that we know.
The tent video, you may believe it to be a hoax but no one has proven it is so far. It is compelling evidence to Ricks claim.
Musky Allen viewing the Bigfoot body, as well as others. You may not believe the descriptions they gave. Yet again this is compelling evidence even if it is anecdotal evidence it is still evidence. It fits with most of the evidence involving Bigfoot in general. The Shooting Bigfoot Movie, you may believe the creature in it is a Hoax or a person that knocked Mr. Matthews down. Yet it is also not proven to be a Hoax or a fake. This is also another piece of evidence that confirms Ricks Story.
I understand that we do need to take in account Ricks past a bit. But no one so far has given solid proof of this being a hoax. Most of the people I read on this site and others who believe it to be a hoax come up with so many different variations on what the hoax is. Didn't Sherlock Holmes also follow Ockham's razor theory that the most obvious and simple hypothesis would be the correct one. The simple one in this is that it is Real.
So my call to people like Racer X prove this all is a hoax. You are so sure it is you must have current proof that we can all verify. So far I have not seen that.

Speed-Racer - Your "critical thinking" doesn't really hold up in this situation. By Dyer not following through with any of the verifiable evidence he has promised from day 1, he has effectively proven this is a hoax already. High definition film - never released as promised. High definition photos - never released as promised. Body to be released with film - never released as promised. Reefer truck receipt - never released as promised and so on and so forth. There is nothing left to prove on our side. The only thing Dyer has released is footage of his friends talking about how they have seen the body. Who, btw, all signed these supposed NDA's. So how is is they are all talking about the body? As I am sure you have figured out, having your friends talk about how they have seen the body does not require proof, or an actual body. It just requires a few scumbag friends who are willing to lie for you. At this point in time Dyer has failed on every front. - Rick Dyer happened to kill a Bigfoot during the year that he stated online that was his goal, and during a curiously scheduled add-on shoot for a documentary about hoaxers
- That he is using a film director's distant amusement at his antics (and desire to maintain a spooky ending) to perpetuate a fraud
- That he has a history of preying on desperate people and getting them to lie for him
- That he got another BF-community hater to convince credulous Facebook page administrators (and a researcher who appears to believe anything, like Dallas summoning Bigfoots to help Frank) that he saw a body lying on a slab while a VIP and his doctor authenticated the remains

Dyer came out of the gates with both barrels blazing, making fantastic claims and attacking any who dared to question him. He did this because he wanted attention...so he could make a buck off the gullible. Unfortunately for him, most of the attention he received was negative (what a surprise when you act like 'the cock of the walk' and seek to destroy those just asking for some evidence).

Delete1- Yes, when someone makes an outrageous claim, or does something of consequence you have every right to "dig up his life" or as I would call it, look at their past behavior. They are called priors in the legal world and they are always used to build a case.
2- I wasn't there and so I don't know what the exchange was, but how do you know VR harassed the car wrap guy? For all we know he went and asked the guy a simple question. In addition, how can you fault him for doing his own investigative work when you are the one who keeps telling us to prove its a hoax?
3 - I would suggest the harm Rick has done is taking money from gullible people who don't know any better. I cannot guarantee, but I safely assume most people who follow BF this closely are not the cream of the crop. We have seen the people who show up at Ricks hangouts. They are generally older and a little worse for wear. I highly doubt they would give up the little money they have if they knew they were being duped. Other than that he has made some pretty outrageous claims about people that have never been substantiated. Rape, child molestation and Bestiality are generally not things to joke about. They certainly are not things you want your name to be associated with if someone were to google you. I would also argue that things posted about Rick are true and already public knowledge. We talk about his past record. Its already out there for all to see.
And lastly, you really need to do some research with regards to "burden of proof." I don't think you understand the concept.

DeleteI did not harrass car wrap guy at all. I just showed up at his business and wanted to ask him about his viewing of Hank. I was video taping the outside of his business, from my car across the parking lot, when Mr Godinez came running out of his shop asking me not to video his store front. I got out of my car to meet him and asked him about his alleged viewing of Hank. He then, turned on his heels, and briskly walked back into his store shouting, "no comment, no comment." I did not follow him but got in my car and drove away.
Not a whole lot of harrassing going on here?

1- I do not believe in BF, as I have mentioned before. However, that is not the reason for this blog. The reason we are here is because Dyer is milking people out of their money and as racer X stated, committing an awful lot of libel. I do not know of any other hoaxers currently doing that, therefore there is no reason to look at other people who claim to see BF.
2 - Vegas Rob just replied to you, and it does not sound like harassment at all. It sounds like the guy came out of his store, said "no comment" and VR left. If that is your definition of harassment, what do you call what Dyer does to innocent people? Tough love?
3 - I agree that people are giving Dyer money of their own free will. BUT, they are doing it based on his claim that he has shot and killed a BF and would be providing them will all sorts of evidence along the way. Had he not made this claim do you think people would have given him money just the same? I sure don't. We are just about one year into this. With the exception of Dyer's friends claiming to see the body, which we already established does not require actual proof or a body, no such evidence has been presented. He has had quite a while to do it. He claims he has all the evidence. Yet, here we sit. With nothing. With regards to Racer X, etc, again, these are claims that need verification to go along with them. Nothing was provided, and I certainly do not take Dyer at his word. On the other hand, Dyer has a public record. We have all sorts of legitimate proof of him being arrested for domestic abuse, conning people on ebay and committing several hoaxes in the past.
It sounds as though I have done all the research I need. You are not using common sense. I am not going to say something nasty as many of the others do, because it's not my style, but I do suggest you take a good hard look at this whole scenario again.

Delete1- I have no idea what the monetary amount is. I imagine it has been decent because the hoax would not be worth the time and effort otherwise. Had he actually shot a BF, Dyer said he was going to be beyond wealthy. So why charge people money at all? This would be peanuts compared to the millions he was about to make. From my viewpoint, $1 is too much money. So I don't really care how much he made.
2 - Well, he seems to attack a different person on his blog every other week. There are just about always allegation of being wrapped up in something illegal, yet no proof...ever. I don't know the people in question personally, but it does seem odd that anyone who calls out Dyer seems to be involved in some awful stuff. Strange, huh?
3 - That is a convenient out for Rick. Anytime he gets asked a real question he uses that excuse. He seems to be in control of things when he runs his mouth, but when he has to put up..."oh, well, my investors make all the decisions and I signed a NDA." Yeah, ok.
4 - I have not followed Dyer's criminal record, but no one seems to ever question his arrests. I have, however, seen his wrap sheet, and that is proof that he was at the very least suspected for these. And to answer your questions about my personal life, no I have never been arrested for anything. I would certainly never physically or verbally assault a woman, I would not steal money from people, and I do my best not lie to people. Not claiming I never lie, but lets just say I haven't claimed to shoot any BF.
If it turned out to be true, I would certainly be disappointed in Racer X. If he has done it, at least own up to it. With that said, I don't believe its true, and until I see some proper proof, I don't believe anyone should evern consider it a truth. Racer X also has not asked me for money to be a part of this blog, and so I don't necessarily care about his personal life anyway.

Ok. Once upon a time there was a simple little man, let's call him Ricky. This little man was always last to be picked for playground games, never got the girl and never was hugged. Little Ricky developed a deep seated hatred for those who were responsible, tactful, and seemed to enjoy their acquired social skills. Little Ricky soon discovered he could circumvent these social skills by becoming the center of attention. Other kids got attention by being forthright, honest and hard working, but poor Little Ricky was far too lazy to even think about trying to do the right thing, instead Little Ricky found an easy way out. Bad attention is still attention. He soon began making grandiose claims and lashed out at those who doubted the outrageous and unsubstantiated claims. He would skulk home and begin compiling plans for the next lie. Over time Little Ricky began to notice the slower kids begun to gravitate to him, "Friends" he thought. Little Ricky even had an assembly in honor of his newest, latest claim, the school paper was there, even the local news station was present. Poor Little Ricky was beeming with his ill-gotten pride. But moments after the assembly began, Little Ricky realized he was in too deep and had nothing to show. He turned on his 'Friends" he turned on everyone. Poor little Ricky was alone in front of everyone. He skulked away, again. Began planning, again. and found some more really lonely "friends" again. Poor Little Ricky only knows this cycle of deception, there are plenty of lonely kids to make "friends", there are plenty of people who will ever believe Poor Little Ricky, and there are plenty of outrageous lies Little Ricky can form together to construct his next show.

Is Doc's logic contagious? Why should we prove anything, we are not boasting that the video contains a real sasquatch. We aren't portraying the creature in the movie as a filmmaker tackler. It really is quite simple, you are claiming such, Dyer is claiming such, Cali is attempting to write as such. Simple, just release it! What is the malfunction here? Just shut us up in the grandest way possible, drag that corpse down to Times Square, or anywhere. I would love to be given the opportunity to prove this is a bad, sad hoax. We can't find resolution until Dyer/Musky let this go. Either release the body, in which all of us would be humbled, and it would be over. OR Dyer/Musky tell everyone it was all a lie, in which you and TT will be humbled, AND it will all be over.
The ball is in your/their court. We are merely trying to make sense from our perspective, and you are doing the same from your perspective, but this could all be over in a flash. Simple, just release the damn body.

So one thing you can take from this Racer X is that Speed racer is a huge fan and is emulating your name. For a guy who is at least the most literate out of any TT supporter, he also has the most flawed logic. At least with frank you know your getting nothing but stupid from the first syllable he utters. So this Speed racer guy is putting it all on two rolls of celluloid in the year 2013 and a mysterious guy that goes by the name of Musky Allen? And then claims this is proof with a capital P that we can't disprove and hangs his hat on it proudly. You buddy could be the guy the character in the movie The Truman Show was based off of. If you want to take the tent video and say it can't be disproved you are right. From a layman's perspective and without the proper equipment to take it apart, yup I can't prove its a fake. We all know no one with those credentials has been offered that chance either. I love the SYFY series Face off and in hours notice these guys can whip full body costumes that are truly impressive and very believable. An amateur makeup artist could make a bigfoot face in a day or less, that can blink, chew, ooze realistic blood and on and on, especially if it is just an obscured face through a tent flap. The tent video can only be called pathos proof, which is emotional proof in that it appeals to and arouses an audience. It is only a means of persuasion and is only an enhancement to an argument. Being only an enhancement to an argument, it FAILS on Logos (logic) proof appealing to an audience’s reason, understanding, and common sense or Ethos proof which appeals to the audience’s impressions, opinions, and judgments about the individual stating the argument. Those are the only types of proof you could ever offer from a movie clip and it fails on two of the three and once again pathos is only an enhancement to an argument and not an argument itself so it is also the weakest. I have not seen Shooting Bigfoot, but we have already as much as been told by the guy who directed it, that in his opinion it was a guy in a suit. If the directors not going to claim it is a real bigfoot, than either am I and neither should you. Musky Allen has been torn apart in these blogs and is a nobody and more than likely a no one and only created for this hoax. I stayed out of this all day because it gets tiresome to fight the same old non argument over and over and it's been done quite well in previous blogs. It's a bad argument to ask someone to disprove something you are trying to prove Speed Racer and you would have failed miserably in any Philosophy class that I ever took.

What's up G.A? Don't omit yourself from the fray. It does get tiresome repeating yourself against crazy logic, but its easier when it's coming from multiple peeps. I think this non-start logic is genius and plan to use it on my taxes this year. "Mr. IRS agent you can't prove that I DIDN'T give a million dollars to the Post Enlightenment Team Tracker Recovery Clinic." It's just nuts. It's really rather scary that people are that entrenched that they have blinders on to very simple basic concepts. I am all for proof and in fact welcome ANY that Musky allows Dyer to release.

AND if it takes you 21-22 hours to construct a blog post and/or muster the courage. I would concur if your posts were lengthy thought provoking manifestos.
