Rick has been busy having a membership drive lately but that all comes to an end soon. In fact, membership ends today....except there is no date shown. Is this like the perpetual "Going Out of Business" sales that are frequently seen, yet the business never shut down?
What does a Gold Member get for their hard earned $99.99? For that price I bet it's super sweet stuff us regular folk will never get to see.

Silver membership gives you no advantages, much like the Gold membership.

I mean I believe in the existence of it, or at least there being a high likelihood of one existing. The problem is, is that when people believe in something so much- no matter how well intentioned, that they can easily be manipulated and falsely-led. Its been happening since the history of mankind- take one charismatic leader preaching a brand of faith that people WANT to believe in, and voila instant following.

Also I have it on good information that although Rick has 'pulled' memberships, that he will again start selling gold memberships in the near future. This is a hoax, hoaxs make money off people, so don't believe for one second he is going to permanently cut his income off. DeleteFunny thing is as soon as authorities started looking into Rick he very smartly offered up his 'free' expedition to members- this will help him a lot if it goes to court; however, it wont clear him of fraud for sure on claims of selling a dead bigfoot to members.
I'm guessing fewer than 20 members total. As far as Rick's expeditions, I'm only aware of one and they made a movie from it. No one has ever come forward to say what an expedition of his was like. As far as his lies, I believe 2000 may be a fairly accurate number.

I think that the reason (speaking for myself at least) as to why we 'get online and talk about a guy who we may or may not have met in real life' is because after the movie released and most people jumped ship, is that we actually FEEL for the people still on board the Dyer ship who will be hurt the most when they realize this is fake. They are the ones most susceptible to this massive hoax, they are the ones who will be hurt both financially, emotionally and psychologically. Gentleman above whom I am replying to:

The release came and went, and so did most of his followers. So yes Rick promised a lot things would be in that movie that weren't. As a result FBFB stopped their site out of humiliation from offering up a reward to a guy committing a hoax so they shut down.
