Rick Dyer BIGFOOT HOAX ?

A friend of mine sent me a link to a video from someone who appears to be new to the scene. The uploader of the videos is interested in this story as much as the rest of us are and he's busy uploading at a furious pace. I counted 38 videos and I've probably watched 30 of those over the last couple of days.
There is an introduction, a nine part series and then he goes in to topography, waste management, campsites etc. Much of what this person is covering are things we already know, but I appreciate these videos for the fresh eyes and his zest for trying to include all possibilities. A lot of his work is new and original. It's work I have not seen anyone talk about until now.
Here is a link to his channel: townsendmedia

Dyer on Drugs?

I chose the last video because of the relevant content, not because Dyer was loopy on painkillers. I read a comment saying he had a couple of teeth pulled, so there you go.
Even though I've been through all Rick's (now removed) videos, I was able to catch him in at least three more conflicting statements because my eyes didn't glaze over. Thankfully "Chris" gives us rest breaks while he commentates on what we've watched.
If you're in to quick fix videos, these won't be up your alley. "Chris" seems very detail oriented so be patient. I for one enjoyed his videos.

    2. Well whatever early momentum this guy may have had fizzled out. Some of his videos are just outright hilariously bad. The one where he speculates on the research center in San Antonio is priceless- underground tunnels and all.

Actually if you look at his other videos you see a lot on conspiracies and "far out" subjects. It's almost as if he is becoming more paranoid over time from what I gathered.

  2. The whole premiss of Rick's story is that he allowed Morgan Matthews an opportunity to premiere his movie before releasing the body. I don't think Rick is going to suddenly decide to break a preexisting agreement now because this guy suggests it.

As far as the hydrocodone goes, he was suggesting that Dyer was doing it to solely get high- I don't know if he missed part of the story or what.

    1. Agreed. Why should he get a picture and risk breaking the agreement with like 2 weeks before the film? I really dont see how Ricks 2008 hoax could hurt someone so bad that they still feel it now unless its the person who gave him the cash for it!! Some people really need to get a grip. I believe Rick 100% and did so from the start and thats the thing, belief is believing someone, I have watched all his radio shows and followed this from september 2012, I believe him because to me he is sincere, hes answered everyones questions that have ben put to him, no one has managed to prove this to be a hoax and so on.... Let alone the fact that Minnow, FBFB, Musky have confirmed/are involved.... If he showed us the body and then said now do you believe me? that would not be belief would it? it would be fact!! Rick has a very real fan base and support, he has made numerous friends, good friends who I think he would like to keep.

    2. Minnow was involved in making a film. Minnow has said nothing at all about a dead bigfoot or even a live bigfoot. FBFB and Musky - that's hilarious!! A bunch of nobodies in the bigfoot community. How about someone CREDIBLE?? Whatever happened to Derek Randles going, btw?? Oh that's right. Rick cancelled the viewing! I WONDER WHY. So you believe Dyer, FBFB and Musky. Congrats. Nothing to be proud of. My standards are somewhat higher. So you think Dyer answered everyone's questions - big deal. All lies, and what he can't answer, he hides behind an NDA. You say no one has managed to prove this to be a hoax. Why don't you ask your leader for proof?? WHY??

    3. Minnow films has not once confirmed a bigfoot body.
      Get a grip!

    4. Skyla, From the beginning Minnow films has confirmed nothing of substance. Five months ago they received inquiries about a body and they ignored them. It's rather obvious whatever the truth, they are not revealing it.

    5. I said confirmed/are involved yes i got FBFB and minnow the wrong way round. I never intended to say Minnow had confirmed anything, but yes, they are not revealing anything.

  3. Dyers sincerity, his answering questions, and his video interviews all prove nothing. Similar to failing to absolutely proving that Rick Dyer is hoaxing this second time. However, Dyer has stated that he made a ton of money on the last hoax. Dyer has stated that this episode, will get his name out there again. We can therefore connect the dots and assume that getting his name out there again will make him a ton of money, regardless of whether he is hoaxing or not. Dyer's motive is not to produce a body in order to make a ton of money, it is simply to make a ton of money any way that he can. Which includes another hoax.

Dyer stated that "Shooting Bigfoot" was going to be in the 2013 Tribeca film festival. They apparently rejected it as it did not even make the top 60 films that they reviewed. Dyer has shown this supposed body to no neutral party who is willing to attest to it. Desperate Dyer did however put together another scam to imply that he had a body, with the Musky incident. Dyer does not act like he has had some highly emotional event take place in his recent past, that shook him to his core. The homeless people who lived within yards of where the filming took place, made statements that they thought it absurd to think that a Bigfoot was either seen there or shot there. Anybody who will willingly get up in front of national TV cameras, and lie through their teeth, will do it again at the drop of a hat. And have absolutely no qualms in doing so. His motivation is to make royal fools out of the people who believe him this second time, and to make a ton of money doing it. It is a win-win situation for Rick Dyer. Rick Dyer appears to be both a sociopath and a pathological liar, since he does not care who he hurts with his skillful lies.

    1. I doubt seriously he is making a "ton of money". A few thousand dollars (provided he is actually keeping the money he says he is donating) versus the time he has spent talking and promoting whatever this turns out to be is not productive monetarily.

If indeed this is a hoax, the payoff seems to be the attention he is getting.

  4. Rick Dyer has said on his radio show, when asked about why he is charging for memberships, is he will donate it all to a charity,(that he started) for the homeless, this absolute bullshit. It is a part of the con. He also stated that he will be increasing the membership to $1000, after 4/30/13. So he is going from $99 for gold up to $1k?

This is what is going to happen. In the last 3 minutes of this film, they are going to show something, it is staged. The film is going to end, with absolutely no proof of an animal or his Bigfoot. He is going to claim, that it ended not how it was supposed to, and that the film company is going to make another movie. But for all Gold members he is going to show pics of his Hollywood mask, a blurred body, and no other evidence. It will be obscure, just like his story. He will rake in more money. He has already pushed back his so called expedition that was supposed to occur in late April, and is late on getting merchandise out to those who have ordered it off his website, his words. It is the true mark of a sociopath, a con artist and general no good thief.

He has his sheep, he claims to have around 1200, I doubt it, but anything over one person paying for his continued bullcrap is one too many.

It is like watching a car accident in slow motion.

    1. So it is your premiss that a company that does straight documentaries is going end this movie with a nebulous, staged ending?

    2. My premise is that Minnow Films has said nothing to support Dyer's claims. They have only said that they have followed some folks who go to the point of lunacy in claiming that Bigfoot exists. Personally I do believe that the Big Fella is out there, I just don't buy Dyer's account, nor do I believe he has a body. The only person claiming to have a bigfoot body is someone who claimed the same damn thing in 2008 a known hoaxer, a criminal and con man. It just amazes me at the stupidity of people these days.

  5. Dyer has a very small number of 'fans' who log into his 'hangouts'.

Such a shame that Dyer chooses to manipulate the most simple and gullible of footers.

    Payback is overdue.

  7. This guy is a con man, hoaxer.A blind man could see that.I knew he was a bullshiter the first time I heard him back in 2008.He better get accustomed to living in the woods, when all that bad karma catches up with him.
