Shooting Bigfoot Press Kit

The media kit for the documentary is out, and available in PDF format.

The logo doesn't scream greatness, and honestly, I thought the art would be a bit more dramatic given the alleged contents of the documentary. The description is short and doesn't give any details, as I would expect. Interpret this brief description any way you like, but I still have not changed my position with regards to Rick Dyer's claims.

Shooting Bigfoot: What the Rick Dyer Body Means for Sasquatch Research

Christopher Noel has a new booklet out. Here is the extended description:

"The purpose of this brief E-book is to place the event of 2012, and its recent, explosive aftermath into a broader context than that of a carcass on a slab…or behind glass in a Las Vegas casino.

Say that we wished to learn more about a newly discovered tribe in the Amazon--would we trap one of them, blow his brains out, and haul him from the jungle and into a laboratory?

A quality of uncanny humanness has always been clear at Sasquatch “habituation sites,” places with which the hairy folk have become familiar. Throughout North America, certain people have experienced repeat visits to their homes and properties, often for years. Some have sought, in the peaceful spirit of Jane Goodall, to befriend these curious and tricky neighbors, and to foster (so to speak) an ongoing family reunion.

The recent Texas killing exploited another habituation site. Now an open season on Sasquatch may be at hand, unless halted by insight. We must welcome an immediate flowering of vivid backyard accounts, leading to familiarity, recognition, and protected legal status.

SASQUATCH RISING 2013 is the only available source to not only delve into the scientific revolution unfolding before us today but also to fill in the rest of the story, conducting readers behind the scenes at multiple habituation sites—in Iowa, New York State, North Carolina, Oklahoma, Texas, and Vermont. These first-person testimonials and the author’s own field notes show the subtle, surprising ways of our ancient living kin."

Smashwords

This booklet is listed as Nonfiction, but we don't have proof of anything. There is no proof yet to back up Rick Dyer's story, and I personally am not holding my breath that evidence, let alone proof will be provided. I don't know how credible Chris Noel was before Sept. 6/12, but once this hoax is busted, any and all credibility will be gone....forever.
It's not up to me or anyone else to prove this is a hoax, it's up to Rick Dyer to prove this dead Bigfoot is real. Dyer made the claim. I enjoy a good mystery, so I have fun with this. All of the inconsistencies in the story are on this blog, even the one where Rick says in 2010, Bigfoot don't exist. One person feels so strongly that this is a hoax, the person left this comment:

I have repeatedly stated that IF Rick Dyer has a real, verified Sasquatch, I will close down this blog. I have never heard Rick say he will shut down HIS site if this is proven to be a hoax.

The Faces of Hank

Has anyone taken the time to take a good, hard look at the various artist's rendering of Ricky's alleged dead Bigfoot? You know, the Bigfoot named Hank. The Bigfoot that is not embalmed or frozen, but somehow manages to resist decomposition through some miraculous procedure. Here are the various interpretations provided by Rick Dyer and Musky Allen.

The image above has been cropped to show just the face and shoulders. This was the first drawing Rick released on Jan. 3/13. The "Bigfoot" appears to be balding, he has deep set eyes and a graying beard. This rendering remained unchanged for over a month. The picture below is the full body drawing.

Up next is Musky Allen's impression of what he saw. An artist created this interpretation based on information Musky gave the artist. From what I have read, it sounds like considerable attention was given to this rendition in order to present a reasonable facsimile.
Hank is balding, but not as much as Rick's version. The mustache is thinner, the beard is shorter, and the beard is void of any gray. The skin tone is much lighter as well.

This version of Hank was shown AFTER the Musky Allen version. Notice the lighter skin tone and wider nose. For some reason, a longer beard was added. At least this rendering is now somewhat similar to Musky's idea of what he claims to have seen.
Why the sudden changes? Is it because Rick's first drawing doesn't closely resemble Musky's?

Last, but not least, we are shown this nice piece of art. To me this one depicts the tent video Hank the best. This artwork does not look anything like the others. The hair line is closer down on the forehead, skin tone is darker, and Hank is sporting a full, thick mustache. The eyes are very human compared to Rick's description of almost completely dark eyes.

I'm not going to bother trying to convince those still sticking with Dyer. They've had plenty of time to weigh the glaring inconsistencies in the story and come to a rational conclusion.
The latest addition to the grand story line is Hank has two rows of teeth. How come this was never mentioned in the past six months?
Just recently Dyer said the sale of the body was declined, but it would be shown at a casino in Vegas. The very next day the story changed, and the body would be sold before the documentary is shown on April 30/13.

Dyer is now down playing the film festival and appears to be focusing on an alleged second film of an autopsy and other footage. Kind of familiar from 2008, don't you think?
Same story, in the same order. Even a good old fashioned book burning was mentioned.

When this entire charade is exposed for the hoax that I believe it is, those who thought this was real will have no excuses. They can't blame Rick Dyer, that's for sure. They will only have themselves to contend with. They will be the ones who will be asking how they were fooled.

FB/FB, Hot Docs & Minnow Films

It's finally nice to see that people are starting to talk, but really, nothing tangible is being said. The folks at Facebook Find Bigfoot issued an open letter today addressed to " those anticipating there is definitive biological evidence of a Bigfoot (a specimen) coming soon..." It's unfortunate this letter wasn't addressed to EVERYONE who has been following this seemingly endless saga since the beginning.
Whether you think Rick Dyer is "the real deal", or like me, you think this is a 100% hoax, most of us are awaiting the final outcome. This is the open letter FB/FB issued today on their fan page.

"An open letter to those anticipating there is definitive biological evidence of a Bigfoot (a specimen) coming soon and that Minnow Films captured 3 minutes of the closest and longest live action of a Bigfoot.

FBFB authenticated the famous
"Tent and camper" Video clips in September 2012 because it fit with the morphological profile created by the social network of researchers from 2009 to 2012. We have authenticated many videos and still Rank the Camper at #2. The film was taken by Rick Dyer, bad boy turned researcher. Some of the skeptics have been emboldened by a blurb regarding the Minnow Films "Shooting Bigfoot" debuting at Hot Docs in Toronto on 4/30/13. Our advice to skeptics don't get your hopes too high that FBFB and the Dyer story will fail.

The film runs 90 minutes with 3 minutes of historic Movie Quality footage of a live sasquatch eating ribs from a tree near the end of film. So at approximately 9:50pm EST on April 30th, the fate of FBFB and Bigfoot research will finally BEGIN to be decided.

We now find ourselves completely and totally behind not only Rick Dyer but our chief adversary for many years Skeptic "Musky Allen". We have purchased 24 tickets and will be there in there in force for this historic night. From now till that night we will continue our work at authenticating videos and featuring the best of bigfoot research and eyewitness interviews. We promise to shutter this page if we are proven to be wrong. BUT! If we are proven correct this site will be a historic record of the thousands of posts surrounding this event."

I have to give Jack and Jeff props for not wavering on their position even though I disagree with them. They have stood their ground and taken a pummeling yet they remain steadfast. Long time fans of the popular Facebook page have wondered why these two men would support a known hoaxer and liar, and the rest of us have wondered the same thing. I guess we'll find out after the screening on April 30/13.

Yesterday  I was browsing some of the forums and a few people suggested that the person providing the overview never saw the documentary. I have no idea how or why a person would come to this conclusion. That's akin to a film critic giving a film review without watching the movie. It just doesn't happen.
A person took the initiative and contacted Justin Mah. Justin was the person who gave the overview of 'Shooting Bigfoot':
“I don’t think an hour goes by in the day where I don’t think about Sasquatch,” divulges one aficionado. So begins Morgan Matthews’ rollicking foray into the obsessive, hoax-filled cult of Sasquatch. Using the in-the-trenches style of The Blair Witch Project, the film allows us to accompany the adventures of three Sasquatch search parties: socially awkward “master tracker” Ric Dyer; crotchety old guys Dallas and Wayne; and Tom Biscotti, perhaps the most devoted of the bunch, who has hunted Sasquatch unabatedly for 37 years. The teams tramp through the wooded unknown with tracking equipment and ample conviction in hand, the bipedal ape-like creature they seek seemingly just around every bend. As truth and fact tip into malarkey, nighttime hunts devolve into farcical displays of voodoo and comic stretches of the human imagination. A humorous look at perception gone off the rails, Shooting Bigfoot is a no-holds-barred plummet into folkloric lunacy. Justin Mah

This is what David Durret had to say via FB/FB;

"Unsolicited message to me (David Durett) from the Director of Programming at Hot Docs, sent at 8:06 p.m., several hours after I had thanked Justin and ended our exchange. His blurb didn't include a reference to "the last three minutes" because they are not commenting on it. (for those who don't get it, the last three minutes MUST be significant if they are choosing to officially not comment)"

Dear David,

Many thanks for getting in touch. Both Justin and I have seen the film in
full. We're not commenting on the last three minutes, we recommend that
you come and see the film.

Best wishes,
Charlotte

I have a few issues with what we are presented with.
"Unsolicited message" Exactly what does this mean? If Mr. Durret did not ask them the question himself, why is it he knows they are not commenting on the last 3 minutes of the documentary?
Perhaps this is why:

David goes on to add this, hinting in favour of the documentary showing an actual dead Bigfoot:
(for those who don't get it, the last three minutes MUST be significant if they are choosing to officially not comment)"
Why MUST this be significant? I actually do get it, and I think many others do as well. WHY would a person providing an overview of a film tell us the ending? I wonder who decided it was appropriate to ask that question in the first place.
When Roger Ebert gives us a movie review, does he tell us how the movie ends? The answer is NO. We must decide if we want to see a particular movie based off the information we are given.
The people at Hot Docs would be committing career suicide if they gave out information on the last 3 minutes of this documentary, or any other film.
If this is a documentary that could change the way we view ourselves, why is it  opening on a Tuesday? A film of this magnitude would command a Friday or Saturday evening showing, would it not?

Morgan Matthews of Minnow Films finally spoke up today and offered this:

STATEMENT
"We are aware there has been a lot of speculation about this documentary. We will not be releasing any further information about the film prior to its screening at Hot Docs in Canada at the end of April. However, we can confirm that it includes Rick Dyer, Tom Biscardi, Dallas and Wayne, and it contains some fairly dramatic scenes filmed in the woods."

This statement by Mr. Matthews is drier than a popcorn fart on a hot day and does nothing to quench the thirst of people wanting information. Even the last few words are a let down."some fairly dramatic scenes filmed in the woods."
So far, nothing I have read indicates we are about to embark on a journey of epic proportions.

Shooting Bigfoot

Sorry I'm late to the party, but it's a party I wouldn't miss. I periodically check my email while I'm working, just to make sure I haven't missed any breaking news. A regular reader of Bigfoot Tracker News sent me a link, and it turned out to be a great one.

90 minutes | UK  | English  | World Premiere

Hot Docs

It was only a matter of time before the truth started to emerge from the shadows, and it looks like the day is drawing near. 'Shooting Bigfoot' will be shown in Canada on April 30, 2013. In Canada? You have no idea how happy that makes me.....well....maybe you do.
I will not be able to go to the screening, but I wish I could. I would love to be the first to report back on this documentary. For now, what we have, is the description of the film.
I'm perplexed (not really), I don't see any words that would indicate the discovery of the century. No enticing words like "enthralling", "EPIC", "mesmerizing" are used at all.
Instead we get the words "obsessive", "hoax-filled", "malarkey", and "lunacy".
What will all of Rick's "followers" say now? How will Rick explain this one away?

I visited Dyer's blog to see if he had already made a post on the topic. He did as a matter of fact and it was a lengthy copy and paste. It's interesting to note that out of his entire post, he only has this tidbit to offer his rabid fans:

"Bigfoot hunters finally get their day in the spotlight with Shooting Bigfoot."

After all of the hoopla and promises, he offers ONE line announcing this documentary. He provides no insights, nor does he offer any extra clues. He's virtually silent and doesn't even bother to post a link.
I thought this documentary was going to vindicate Rick. Somehow, judging from the description, I don't see that happening.
I don't know what else to tell everyone, but the person who sent me the link does. This is my favourite comment of the day:

"If ANYONE still sticks to the dead bigfoot story, I swear, I'm going to lose my shit."

I feel like having a Carlton moment.

Harry Pearce: This Is Dyer's Bigfoot

I had originally planned to take a much needed break from  Rick and his dead Bigfoot until I walked right in to this story. Through comments left on a Facebook page I worked my way backwards until I found this: Found Bigfoot
The page is only a couple of days old, and there are claims on this page made by Harry Pearce that he was invited by Rick Dyer to view the body.

This writing style doesn't strike me as something Rick would write. Dyer is less formal and spelling is not his strong suit. Rick will be the first to admit that.
I contacted Harry Pearce and he agreed to let me conduct a short interview with him, and he agreed that I may post our exchange on this blog.
This is the first reply I received from Harry:

"Found Bigfoot

This is Harry Pearce, and feel free to cover whatever you want. I took the pictures with my Android, and I created the video on my Mac.
Here is the story:
I was introduced to FBFB by my cousin Billy Joe. Honestly, we were making fun of everyone for believing in Bigfoot. After a few days of this abuse, I got a message from Rick Dyer to see what would be the Dyer Bigfoot.

It shook me up pretty good, I was converted, and a Dyer disciple, or however you would put it.
But, I also was not born yesterday, so I took pics and hair samples while I was there. Had to sneak to do it, but I knew no one would ever believe me. I was not the only one to see it, Elisha Wells also saw the body and confirms my pics to be the body.
So as I began to post on my experience, as expected, I heard a lot of people say BS, and that was fine. One guy, Fabio, kept it up until he got Dyer to post on my thread where I had posted the invitation from Rick Dyer to see the body. Dyer never claimed I did not see the body. In fact, he said nothing but regarded a post I made of a fear of there being a cover up, and he said there would be no cover up. But Musky Allen made the statement that they never heard of me. Maybe Musky was jealous he wasn't the only skeptic convert, idk. So, as anyone else would, in a nutshell, I said if I never saw the body, then how did I get pics of this? And I posted the pics of the body. They flipped. They cussed me on their show and called me everything under the sun. They banned me AND my pics from FBFB. I was extended a hand from BigTruth, but now they removed my pics and put up the "Musky Allen Finger Painting" as I like to call it. I guess I killed their cash cow.
So, to keep me from being completely silenced, I created my own FB Page, and friends and sympathizers still post about me and what had happened.
I heard that Minnow films was releasing a Documentary so I thought I would help them out, that is why I made my film, lol.
I am done with words with Rick Dyer. I am a Missouri Man, and where I am from is the "Show-Me State". If my pics are NOT the body he has, then HE can post pics of it himself. Dyer, Minnow Films, Musky Allen, and all the other Dyer Mobsters can Put Up or Shut Up!
That is a basic run down of what has been happening with me. I appreciate your interest, and look forward to seeing it on your blog if you should decide to use it. "

I replied back to Harry with my questions:

"Thanks Harry, can you tell me the date you viewed the body?
The time of day?
The facility it's stored in?
Any people in lab coats etc.?
Any other people viewing with you besides Elisha Wells?
Was Rick Dyer with any of "his people"?
How did you obtain a hair sample?
Have you given the sample to anyone to have it tested?
Did you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
How did you travel to Las Vegas? If you flew, do you have a copy of your ticket?

May I quote you on my blog?"

Harry replied back to me with his answers and I'll format it so it's easier for everyone to read:

 Found Bigfoot
Q: Did you sign a non-disclosure agreement?
A: I moved this question to the top so future questions can be understood. I did sign a non-disclosure, so on location details I can not be totally out with. I will share that it did say I could not use "flash photography". It was worded as no pictures could be taken, but that was the description.

Q: Can you tell me the date you viewed the body?
A: March 9

Q: The time of day?
A: 10 p.m.'ish'

Q: The facility it's stored in?
A: Unable to say

Q: Any people in lab coats etc.?
A: yes, 1 guy late 20's to early 30's, slender, curly hair, buddy holly glasses.

Q: Any other people viewing with you besides Elisha Wells?
A: no

Q: Was Rick Dyer with any of "his people"?
A: Rick Dyer was not present.

Q: How did you obtain a hair sample?
A: There was a table beside the bed with various items on it. One of them was a brush.

Q: Have you given the sample to anyone to have it tested?
A: No, I have no clue where to take it. Have posted about it many many times, and you are the first to ask.

Q: How did you travel to Las Vegas? If you flew, do you have a copy of your ticket?
A: Yes

Q: May I quote you on my blog?
A: yes

Harry was unable to provide me with any email exchanges between him and Rick, but he did send me screen grab of an invitation from Rick. Unfortunately no date is present, just the time.

These are the photos and posts Harry put up on his new page. Harry claims he was censored at FB/FB but I cannot confirm this. I can say I saw no posts recently made by Harry on the fan page.

The very first thing that struck me as odd, was the invitation Rick allegedly sent Harry Pearce. As I stated above, Rick Dyer is less formal, he writes like he talks. I've probably seen more videos and listened to more radio shows of Rick's to know he did not send that message. I can't say I'm 100% sure, but I will say I'm 99.8% sure.
Because this raised a red flag for me, I contacted my friend Steve Alcorn so I could bounce this story off him and get his opinions. I respect Steve because he is after the facts, just as I am.
I think it took Steve less than five minutes to provide me with a photo that looked strikingly similar to the "Bigfoot" Harry says he took a picture of in Las Vegas.

Steve sent me this photo he found here

At first glance I really didn't see much of a resemblance, so I cropped the image and put the Harry picture and this cropped image side by side.

Now that these two images are of roughly equal size, it was easy to see that, in my opinion, Harry took the image on the right and edited the image. I took the image on the right and darkened it a bit and put all three images beside each other.

The image on the left is Harry's "Bigfoot", the middle image is the one Steve found, and the image on the right is the one I darkened.
In my non-expert opinion I can say with certainty that Harry altered the image in the middle.
I will now show my own 7 points of confirmation with the photo below.
1.) Arched eyebrow.
2.) Wrinkle on bridge of the nose.
3.) Lightened line in the nostril.
4.) Two wrinkles under the left eye.
5.) Curvature of the upper lip.
6.) White in the corner is a blanket.
7.) Matching shadow in left corner of the mouth.

I left my "confirmation" points to seven, but there are many similarities between the Harry Pearce picture and the "humanzee" picture.

We wanted to nip this one in the bud before it gained any traction. I don't know why Harry went through all the trouble of doing this. Is he trying to discredit Rick Dyer? Is he mad at the people at FB/FB for removing his comments, or is he trying to discredit people who think Rick is hoaxing?
I don't have the answer for that, only Harry does.
A hoax is a hoax, and a lie is a lie. I'm sorry Harry, but his is an EPIC FAIL.

I want to thank Steve Alcorn for his valuable help, he's as good and honest as the day is long. You can visit Steve on his blog Sasquatch Scoop

FB/FB New Camper Video and Rick's Statements

For some reason there seems to be a lot of hand wringing over the latest blog post by Steve Kulls, found here. Most people say the evidence clearly shows a hoax in the works and a few strongly disagree with the Squatchdetective. Personally, I agree with Mr. Kulls. The photos presented in the FB/FB Camper video, and declared by FB/FB as factual, are not factual at all.
The comment section on the post  I put up last night went back and forth as to who is responsible for adding the photos in question, why the photos were there, and why didn't Rick correct the mistakes.
Rick had the first video up on his blog for at least 24 hours before he addressed the glaring problem. Dyer had a radio show in progress, so I'll knock off a couple of hours for the sake of fairness.
One person in the comment section more or less accused me of not giving Dyer a fair trial as it were.
First of all, I believe this entire thing is a HOAX, I have never made any bones about it. YES, this blog is biased because I think it's a hoax. Rick Dyer has NEVER given quarter to anyone on his blog, but I said I would address a post Rick Dyer made, and I stick to my word.
I'll start off by saying that Rick never indicated if he was involved or collaborated with FB/FB in the actual production of the video, or if he had a chance to preview the video before it aired on YouTube. Dyer can clear that up himself if he wishes to do so.
This is what Rick said on his blog:

In Dyer's opening statement he says "The photo of the fire was taken off of my Facebook page by fbfb look at the date when the fire photo was posted. The fire photo was posted way before September of 2012. The fire was an honest mistake by FBFB. That was not the rib fire....lol"

I would interpret this as meaning Rick had no hand in the production or editing of the video, but since my words get twisted by some of his fans, I will say Rick needs to make an unambiguous statement addressing this particular subject.

In Rick's second statement he says  "Not the same tent or fire and over a year apart!!
Dyer said this, not me. Am I supposed to guess what he meant by this? If you take that quote at face value, Rick is saying the fire picture in the video is not the same fire picture as the one in his Response to Johnny video.
This where Dyer always gets himself in to trouble, he makes abrupt comments without making himself clear. I know what he meant, but believe it or not, there are people who think the two fire pictures are not of the same fire. Hopefully this gif will clear it up for good.

As far as the tent pictures go, I think they are at the very least the same make of tent. Both tents are the same colour and the blue tent flys over the top of the tents have the same curvature. This is in reference to the tent in the background, not the one in the foreground. Both tents have a gray border at the lower portion of the tent.

I'm sure we could argue about the tents all day long, so I will say they look "similar" to me.
Rick has tossed the ball square in the court of FB/FB but so far there has been no comments made by the group.
Facebook Find Bigfoot did post this comment on their wall. FB/FB

"FB/FB has been in touch with Minnow Films this week and as noted by several of our Fans, the company is preparing an official statement about the documentary, to be released next week. We don't know the date or time of the statement or what it contains. However, Morgan Matthews and his team are very aware of the interest in this story."
Some folks have dismissed Steve's post as trivial and unimportant to the bigger picture, but I personally think the video by FB/FB is completely relevant. If you are going to present a story of this magnitude (if it's real), then facts need to be triple checked. There is no room for error.
I would think it prudent that FB/FB clear up all this confusion and obvious inconsistencies.
In the future I will try to be as charitable to Rick as he is with me, that's the most I can promise.

This Just in From Squatchdetective

Ladies and gentlemen Steve Kulls has delivered a one-two punch tonight and you will not be disappointed.
Earlier today Squatchdetective posted an article that I linked to in my previous post. I told someone on Facebook that Kulls is likea Wolverine tracking it's prey, and I wasn't wrong.

"Often in the course of investigations, in this case of a repeat offender, we go through the case file to see if there’s anything old that can be used.
In this case I can thank my compatriot Matt Knapp, bringing to my attention today something I forgot; Rick Dyer’s other YouTube page. The one, not so many people know about.
I’d also like to thank FB/FB for “authenticating” Ricks video and posting pictures he had sent them with their descriptions. Without their “authentication,” debunking this hoax would not have been possible"

Here is the link to the full story: Authenticated Alright! Authenticated Hoax!

I have this exact video in my collection of unpublished Dyerfiles, and confirm the video is legitimate as Mr. Kulls has presented it. I learned a thing or two after Rick scrubbed his YouTube channel, grab it while you can.

I don't know how Rick Dyer can possibly explain all of this, but I'm sure he'll give it a go.
I think someone definitely has some 'splainin' to do.

FB/FB: Back Story on the Tent Video

Facebook Find Bigfoot has uploaded a video explaining the camper video. I saw the video last night but I didn't have time to prepare a post.
Here is the link to their YouTube channel: Jack Barnes Jeff Andersen

Last night I watched the original video that was uploaded to Rick Dyer's blog. Here is the link to his blog, but I'm willing to bet the video won't be there for long: Bigfoot Evidence News

There were some issues in the first video I wanted to address, but it's pointless if FB/FB removed the video, or did not publish it in the first place. I am wondering why there are two versions of this video in less than 24 hours. The uploaded version here is far different from the first video as far as visuals and over all information is concerned.

The concerns I have with this video:

FB/FB have provided no proof that the British voice we hear is that of Morgan Matthews. Two photos are shown of a man that are claimed to be of Morgan Matthews but the face is obscured by a camera in one of the photos, and an elbow in the other.
If one is stating something as factual, unambiguous evidence needs to be provided.

The section of the video showing Dyer talking (Sept. 5/12) is obviously edited, so this changes the context of the original video Rick had up on his channel. There was much more in the video.

Rick Dyer emphatically denied he killed a Bigfoot in the area I had originally posted about here. He also said he was miles from this area. The fact, once again, is he lied.

Not only was this very area shown on a news report, it's shown in the video above. I don't mind Rick calling me names or posting silly pictures of me, but calling me a liar when I had my FACTS correct deserves an apology. It's one I will not receive. The FACT is Rick Dyer lied. There are no excuses, no "it was a joke", nothing. He flat out lied to skeptics, to me AND he lied to his loyal fans. I have been vindicated, chalk one up for Racer X.

This video has been edited more times than a bad B movie. How do we know the sounds heard in this video are in fact original to the video? I'm not an audio expert, maybe another person will look in to this. FB/FB is stating Minnow Films recorded for 2.5 minutes before Rick started to film. This is in reference to a branch snap/break.
I can only assume one or both of the FB/FB guys was in contact with Morgan Matthews to confirm this event. Again, we are expected to accept the words of individuals with no proof presented.

My intention is not to shred this video apart, or "hate" on it. The video raises questions for me, so I am sharing these concerns with the readers of this blog. If you disagree with me, I'm just fine with it.
I appreciate the fact that Jack/Jeff have followed up on this story  provided more information for us. Information they must have known prior to today, but are only sharing this information now. Perhaps an agreement was in place. I have no idea, just curious speculation.
View the video and decide for yourselves. Weigh all the evidence, and above all, question everything.

EDITOR'S NOTE:
Jack Barnes and Jeff Andersen appear to be genuine in believing this event to be real, and they believe Rick Dyer shot and killed a Bigfoot on Sept.6/12. FB/FB said if this event is proven to be a hoax, they will shut down their fan page and walk away from Bigfooting. In my opinion this seems a bit harsh, but I guess that's how serious they are.
FB/FB actually does a good service to the community by providing equipment to good and honest researchers. As a researcher and proponent of Bigfoot, I would be disappointed to see people deprived of this generosity.
What I would like to see is a rewording by them of their analyses videos. FB/FB should state their views as opinions, not facts. Have a more objective and critical view of the videos presented to the Bigfoot community, it can only enhance the reputation of FB/FB.

Having said all that, I personally think, for one reason or another, this entire episode is one big hoax by Rick Dyer. I have no proof yet, but based on his past history and his present lies, I have no other option. I have seen too many of his videos (removed) and watched too many of his radio shows (removed) to change my mind. I am sticking to my guns, just like FB/FB are now.
IF Rick's claims are proven to be true, factual AND verified by reputable and known scientists as far as the body goes, I will shut down this blog and let the domain name expire. This must be proven beyond a shadow of a doubt.
I am a man of my word and will do as I say. As proof I will type my name and date.

ARTIST RENDERING OF THE SASQUATCH IN THE CAMPER/TENT VIDEO

I have seen the recent release by FB/FB of the artist's interpretation of what Musky Allen saw in Las Vegas. I am hesitant to call it a Bigfoot because the rest of us have not seen the alleged body.
Musky is sticking to his word, and if he saw a Bigfoot, I really can't refute his claims as of this writing.
The gentlemen of FB/FB had this to say along side the photo:

"This picture was drawn by David Durrett after 25 exchanges w/ 'Musky Allen' of face and neck of Sasquatch from San Antonio. It was just sent to us by Musky. He says it is an extremely close representation of the cranio-facial features. This is a very important story and we would like to emphasize that this is a real situation. Neither Musky Allen nor any of the Admins of this site are part of a hoax. Our promise to take down FBFB and resign from Bigfoot research remains if this story turns out not to be genuine."

In a previous post I made, I had suggested or speculated it was possible the FB/FB owners were in on what I consider to be a hoax. I still think it's a hoax, and I will think so until Rick Dyer produces the body. The viewing of said body has been delayed yet again according to the rumor mill.
I am taking FB/FB's word at face value. The statement they made is unambiguous, so there is no room for interpretation. They say they are not part of a scheme or hoax and I accept that.
However, if I do find anything to the contrary, I will report about it.
Okay, let's see the monkey:

In my personal opinion this is a much more life like rendition than the one Rick commissioned. I'm not saying it's a real dead Bigfoot, I just appreciate this one more as a piece of artwork.
You will notice the added text on the lower area of the artwork, and I find the wording very odd.
"However, to remain compliant with non-disclosure arrangements, no characteristics indicating or suggesting the cause of death have been shown."

This confuses me somewhat. It's perfectly okay for Musky Allen to show us an artists interpretation of what he saw, but the artist had to omit the wounds? Um...why?
Rick Dyer has said countless times exactly how the "Bigfoot" met it's demise. Shot through the back of the head, knocking out two teeth is what Dyer said.
So, it's fine to talk about what happened, but we are not allowed to see the trauma caused to the facial area. This makes little sense to me.
Let's compare the three facial pictures we know to exist. I will re-post the above rendering so you don't have to scroll. First up will be a screen capture from the tent video.
