Rick Dyer: "I Am The Best Hoaxer In The World"

I wouldn't believe it if I had not seen it with my own eyes. Rick Dyer made a post yesterday and it even took me by surprise. Dyer seems to be and up and down lately. One day he's slinging mud and the next day he's Mr. Charming.
This is what Freezer Boy had to say, and I'm quoting his entire post. I'll highlight the important parts.

"People call me a hoaxer daily and I love every minute of it. The fact of the matter is I am a hoaxer.. But I am the best hoxer in the world. Everything I do I do big I don't b******* around I do it right. The truth be told I'm still making money off the 2008 hoax.
I'm the best Bigfoot tracker in the world.. After the hoax I got serious and became the best Bigfoot tracker in the world. I can't help people being jealous of me and I'm not going to apologize for making money off  Bigfoot.
The Bigfoot community is so minute compared to the grand scheme of things. Everything I do is to agitate  people in the Bigfoot community and it works. There are very few people in the Bigfoot community that I respect. The rest I just play games with. Why you ask? It comes down to Rick Dyer laughing at the end. Sense late September I have made almost 10,000 dollars from adsense off people who hate me.
Bigfoot community is a joke and most people in the Bigfoot community are considered a joke. The new Bigfoot community is going to be headed by the most hated man in the old community.
The offer to see the body to Dr. Jeff Meldrum
has been officially pulled. Jeff had a long list of conditions for me to do him a favor. That showed me he could care less about Bigfoot. A 1 percent chance of this being real ANY real Bigfoot person would have jumped at the chance with no demands. I couldn't even get it out of my mouth before Derek Randles said he will be there."

It doesn't matter if you loathe Rick or support him, this latest rant by Dyer should offend everyone. I think it's safe to say that anyone who knows about Rick Dyer, has an interest in Bigfoot. I know I have an interest in Bigfoot, and I know there are thousands more just like me. This makes us part of the Bigfoot community. Yes, there are different camps for every aspect of Sasquatch. What camp, or who's camp you are in is irrelevant. When Dyer says "Bigfoot Community", it's all inclusive. The supporters might want to think about that for a moment or two. Rick said what he said. Nobody, including Rick can say he was misconstrued or taken out of context. The language is straight forward folks. I saw this post last night but I chose not to jump on it. I wanted to give Rick ample time to correct any of the text. Since he has not done so, I am now talking about it. Here is the screen grab, just in case it gets deleted like his videos did.

I have not addressed the portion of Dyer's post related to Dr. Meldrum because I have not asked him for his opinion on the matter. If Dr. Meldrum wishes to speak about this, I'm sure someone will let me know.
Rick gets so upset with various people because they are "haters" and "jealous". Rick needs to take a good look in the mirror and ask "why" people dislike him. Freezer Boy has some good qualities, but I only ever see it on video when he talks to his wife or holds one of kids. I can see it in his eyes and in the smile on his face. If Rick spent half as much time being straight up and honest as he does bashing and lying, I think more people might have respect for him.
If Rick had good ole' honest videos posted, showing him trudging through the snow, or capturing some of the wildlife for us to witness, people might have more respect for him. How about educating us on the areas he researches (if he does). Rick is a talker, I'm sure he can make an uneventful video entertaining. He might gain respect.
I don't hate Rick Dyer, I hate what he does.
Those are my thoughts, not yours.

Sweeps Week: Any 'Splainin to do Ricky?

"Each year Nielsen processes approximately 2 million paper diaries from households across the country for the months of November, February, May, and July—also known as the "sweeps" rating periods. Seven-day diaries (or eight-day diaries in homes with DVRs) are mailed to homes to keep a tally of what is watched on each television set and by whom. Over the course of a sweeps period, diaries are mailed to a new panel of homes each week. At the end of the month, all of the viewing data from the individual weeks is aggregated." - Nielson Ratings

I noticed Sweeps week has come to a close. Rick stated on numerous radio shows that CNN would be airing an interview with himduring the period known as sweeps week.
During one show Dyer says CNN already did the interview but were waiting. In another show he said they (CNN) were coming to his house. Why do that if an interview had already taken place? Sweep week is finished, where is this earth shattering news coverage of an alleged dead Bigfoot?

Let me guess what Rick would say:
1.) It was a joke.
2.) It was said to throw people off.
3.) It's all part of his plan to annoy the Bigfoot Community.
4.) CNN is waiting for another Sweeps Week.
5.) CNN had too many conditions, so I backed out.

This is what I say:
1.) Delay tactic.
2.) It's a BIG FAT LIE!
3.) Once a hoaxer and liar, always a hoaxer and liar.

I really wish people would wake up to the likelihood this is an elaborate hoax. Ricky stated in a recent blog post that he has made $10,000 off ad sense since September, 2012.

"Why you ask? It comes down to Rick Dyer laughing at the end. Sense late September I have made almost 10,000 dollars from adsense off people who hate me."

Rick, people "hate" you because you're a hoaxer and a liar. You did this to yourself.Rick Dyer calls other people in the field hoaxers with NO proof, just his word.
Rick teams up with Musky Allen to out Shawn Evidence's real identity, thus causing Shawn to out himself.
Rick's fall back is "people are haters and jealous of me". That's completely false.
I have yet to witness Rick Dyer answer ONE question with a legitimate answer.

Here are a few questions I would ask if I was a CNN correspondent:

1.) Rick, in 2012 you stated you saw a Bigfoot near a Home Depot in the year 2009. My investigation shows in 2010 and 2011 you said Bigfoot was not real. It was as real as the Tooth Fairy and the Easter Bunny. You were a "super skeptic".
Can you explain the discrepancy?

2.) Recently you pulled almost all of your videos. Many of these videos contained inconsistencies with your present story.
Do you have an answer for this?

3.) In the beginning, you said you fired one shot to the back of the head of the alleged Bigfoot. This claim remained the same until recently. Now you claim two shots were fired. Why did your story change?

4.) The other day, you had an interview with the people at FB/FB.  During the interview you say, in your own words, you don't look for any signs such as foot prints, hair and you don't use wood knocks or call blasting to try to attract Bigfoot and lure one in closer.
How did you know exactly where to set up camp?

5.) Many people have been trying to find the exact location where you claimed to have killed this alleged Bigfoot. A few people claimed to have found this area, and in a recent interview with a local news station, you appear to confirm this area. A homeless man said you were there as well.
Why do you deny this is the spot? Why did you not correct the reporter if he/she was wrong?

6.) It's a well known fact that you claimed to have shot this creature at approximately 2:30 in the morning on or about Sept. 6/12. It is also known, as stated by you that a film crew as well as other people on an expedition were with you. Facts show this area is populated with many homeless individuals.
Why would you attempt to shoot at a creature, in the dark, with so many others in the vicinity?

7.) The original "Tent Video" was uploaded in black and white and sideways. You also used a pseudonym.
Why do this?

There are many, many more questions one could ask. It's easy to get caught up in this story, a story that seems to change with every passing day. The truth never changes but lies do.
The only conclusion I can come to at this point in time is that Rick's story doesn't add up. I'm not emotionally attached to it and I have nothing to lose or gain, regardless of the outcome. His story has more holes than swiss cheese.

Rick Dyer Unplugged

I can't believe what I just watched.  FB/FB did an interview with Rick Dyer recently, and I have to wonder why. In my personal opinion, this interview comes off as an image makeover for Dyer. They need to paint a better picture of Freezer Boy to pass along to the general population and I'm sure people will gobble it up.

Rick is known as a loud mouthed liar(proven with real FACTS) and basher of certain individuals(check any blogtalk radio show). He will attack anyone who aggravates him.
Most of us know who the real Rick Dyer is, so I won't delve any deeper in to the subject of his character.
I'll talk about the interview itself. First, I'm very happy Rick mentioned he saw a Bigfoot in 2009. If you go to a few of the past radio shows on the side bar, you will find out that Rick still did NOT "believe" in Bigfoot in 2010 and 2011.
I thought Rick was "The Best Bigfoot Tracker in the World" and a "Master Tracker". In order to track something, you need to look for signs and clues. Dyer does none of that. He doesn't look for tracks (unless it's in snow), no searching for structures, hair or scat. He doesn't bother with wood knocks or call blasting. So, what does he really do? Does he randomly pick a location, cross his fingers, and pray to almighty God that a Bigfoot will show itself? Nope, his "Master Tracker" plan is to go to Wally World, pick up some ribs and nail those ribs to any old tree. Oh, then he pitches his tent within an alleged 20 feet of said tree.
Miracle of miracles happen, a hungry Bigfoot navigates through an area inhabited by homeless people, a film crew and who knows how many other people, during daylight hours and finds the ONE tree amongst many with a rib nailed to it. Even more amazing is that Ricky is awake and has his cell phone at the ready.
The guys at FB/FB must be desperate in order to conduct this interview. They have a lot riding on this.
The above thoughts are my own and I call it as I see it. You can decide for yourselves.

I came across a few comments from others on a certain forum. They will know who they are.

"I stopped about the 8 minute mark... "Bigfoot is too smart to leave signs." Yet he's dumb enough to eat ribs nailed to a tree."

"If rick doesn't look for tracks...hair..or howls....how exactly does he "track" bigfoot?"

"I hate to say it, but this story is dead."

"Habituated doesn't mean reckless. The guy that said he heard shots was there for a year and a half and never saw it. The only other people living in that area were the two people that he said had been there 6 months (which still is prior to the supposed shooting), so who was it habituating if the guy living their the longest never saw it.

The further they try to explain the story, the bigger the holes get. It should be the other way around if their was any truth to this."

The song FB/FB used in the intro is almost self-prophetic:

I much prefer this song though:

Big Lion Films: Did Rick Really Sell It?

In a past radio show, Rick Dyer said he sold Big Lion Films "two months ago". I'm wondering why Big Lion Films still features the alleged work of his then. I think Freezer Boy is under the impression that people have short attention spans and they will forget what he said in the past.
I am not one of those people. I know what I heard him say. He said he sold the film company. If this is true, who bought the company? What did they get for their money? Big Lion Films is not famous, so I don't see any benefit to a potential buyer.
Rick has a link on his blog to Big Lion Films.
Maybe Dyer is helping the new owner with promotions. I highly doubt it because Rick still owns the domain name. Why would anyone buy the company and not have the .com transferred over to them? Two months is plenty of time to have a domain transferred to another party.

I blotted out the address and phone number as a courtesy, but you can plainly see that Rick still holds the rights to the domain name.
Maybe Rick is going to merge the material from Big Lion Films over to his new site (not created yet), bigfoot2013.com. Last night on his radio show he said he is going to create a new site for his fans. According to Dyer, those fans can sign up, and as a result they will be able to view the dead Bigfoot for FREE. Really? I wonder how long it would take to fill out all of those NDA's. The funny thing is this, people actually believe him. Rick does in fact own the domain name bigfoot2013.com. He has a common theme running, and that is "Year of Bigfoot 2013" or "Sasquatch2013". "Shooting Bigfoot" and "Shooting Sasquatch" is also a common theme with Dyer and "entities"
Here are some reminders of the past:

Shooting Bigfoot:

Interestingly enough, shootingsasquatch.com is registered by proxy, meaning all personal information is private. That's not Rick's style. Rick shows all of his information on domains he owns, or at the very least he is shown as an administrator.
I'll get back to this point later. Here are video reminders that relate to this post.

What ever happened to the press conference?

Now, back to Shooting Sasquatch. As I mentioned above, shootingsasquatch.com is registered by proxy at godaddy.com. I went to the Shooting Sasquatch website and I was able to find an address listed.

I did a Google search for this address but I could not get an exact match. The address closest to the one listed in the photo was this:

I decided to view this address using the satellite feature. What I found are a group of buildings in close proximity to each other. Perhaps Chiswick Park Building 1 546 Chiswick High Road is one of these buildings. From what I am able to determine, this looks like a filming studio with various tenants.

As you can see in the above photo, it shows Paramount Pictures, Vue Entertainment, Broadcasting House, and Disney. I zoomed in and see Discovery Channel shows up and so does Technicolor.

I could not find an exact address that matches the one listed at shootingsasquatch.com. The buildings shown above have a listed address as 566 Chiswick High Rd, London, Greater London W4, UK.
Maybe this is a Google error? Maybe the address on the website was purposely changed, who knows. What is interesting, is the fact that I was taken to a group of buildings that all relate to the filming industry. Perhaps a reader from the U.K. can shed some light on this.
The bottom line is why would Rick Dyer sell his film company when he has done the work and spread it around the internet? It doesn't make any sense to me........but then again, nothing Freezer Boy does makes any sense.  Maybe Rick had another project going at the same time  he was busy with Minnow Films.
Maybe this is Rick's version of Three Card Monte.

Rick, TPWD, And A 1,000 Complaints

The following radio show is from Sat, February 16, 2013. Rick said he was going to lay low and not talk about the "dead Bigfoot". Dyer also said he was going to slow down on his radio shows. Rick uses his "followers" as an excuse to shoot off his mouth some more.
He really doesn't have that many fans and his chat room numbers reflect that.
Freezer Boy, as usual, lays all of the blame on the haters for his recent problems. He bleats on and on like an old sheep. Quite frankly, it's childish.
Rick goes on to say two of his cars had windows broken (no proof such as photos), and he says he has received threatening emails (no proof). There are two constants with Rick Dyer. He always lies, and he never provides proof for any claims.
I was trying to find the audio portion where Rick said the TPWD received over 1,000 email and complaints because of this (dead Bigfoot) story. I've gone over the show and can't find it. I was watching the Google Hangout video, so maybe it was on the pre-show portion. I know what I heard and if anyone can verify this for me, I would be happy to update this post with audio or transcriptions. The video has since been removed by Dyer and it has become a habit for him. Removing the evidence is what he does.

I contacted TPWD, and to their credit they have been extremely patient with me. I sent this:
" Rumor has it TPWD had 1,000 complaints"
This was the reply I received:
"Entirely fake story – just that, rumor and TPWD has not had any complaints or emails except for this one."

Dyer mentions a person named Roland who allegedly works for the TPWD and Rick played back the message the person left. The caller states the date as September 15, 2012 at about the 59:50 mark I don't know if that means anything or if it was just a slip up. There is a Roland at TPWD and the number matches. I have not contacted 'Roland' so I can't confirm if he actually phoned Rick.

I want to cover one more thing. A couple of comments were left by an anonymous person on another topic. The person posted these:

I followed up on this as well and this is what I sent:

"This message is for Major Alan Teague.  It was
indicated to me that you released the body of a dead Bigfoot to a Mr.
Rick Dyer on or about Sept.6/12. Can you confirm or deny this
information?

I received a reply from Mr. Teague:

Did Rick Dyer Buy The Minnesota Iceman?**UPDATE**

I found this story just moments ago. Sasquatch Scoop posted this article today on his blog and had this to say:
"Recently the Minnesota Iceman came up for sale on Ebay. It was sold by Ebay user Hauntedarmada allegedly for the price of $20,000. So who bought the body? Rumor has it that it was none other than Rick Dyer or someone closely connected to Mr. Dyer.

The sale ended February 20th, 2013 and it has been confirmed that Rick was in St. Paul the very next day. The timing is odd to say the least."

Did Rick Dyer buy the Minnesota Iceman? If he did, why? You can read the full story at Sasquatch Scoop. A link is provided above.
I was aware that Freezer Boy went to Minnesota and there was speculation he went to visit one of the FB/FB people. I guess we'll have to wait for a confirmation or denial......or a "no comment".

"Foot Shooter" Audio: My Opinion

This piece of audio is making it's rounds through the Bigfoot community and I wanted to offer up my own opinion on what I think Freezer Boy was trying to convey.
   Have a listen:
First, I would like to start by saying, and I think everyone knows this, I am not a fan of Rick Dyer. I also firmly believe his tent video and  alleged dead Bigfoot are a hoax.
Having said that, I think Rick was taken out of context. I listened to the entire radio show. It's painful, but I do it for my readers so they don't have to.
My interpretation is this: "Because I hoaxed in the past, people said my story would never go mainstream, but it has."
I'm not defending Rick. This is what I think he meant. Dyer is a big boy, so he can clear the air on this himself. Many people think this was a Freudian slip. It very well could have been, but without further evidence, this is as inconclusive as Freezer Boy's tent video.
Everyone has an opinion on this so I wanted to give my point of view.

From Across The Pond

It looks as though Ricky Dyer has made headlines over seas. This is a lengthy article about the most hated man in Bigfooting, aka Freezer Boy.

The Daily Mail:
"A Nevada man says he shot and killed Bigfoot in San Antonio, Texas, causing fury among Bigfoot fans who say it’s all a hoax.

Rick Dyer, who runs a website called BigfootTracker.com and makes a living tracking the mythical creature, claims he is ‘going to go down in history as the best Bigfoot tracker in the world.’

However, he has not yet revealed the ape-man’s body to the public due to a contractual agreement with a documentary crew which allows them to release their film first, he says."

This is my favorite part of the article.
Dyer claims he lured Bigfoot into a homeless campsite in the woods near Loop 1604 and Highway 151 in San Antonio and shot him.

The first time he came to the site was in 2009, he says, after a homeless woman called 911 to report a Bigfoot sighting.
I'm happy to see Mr. Evidence being quoted in the article:
'Everyone should know by now that Dyer's latest "Bigfoot in a freezer" Part 2 stunt is another hoax,' Bigfoot Evidence, the 'World's Only 24/7 Bigfoot News Blog,' recently posted.

You can read the entire story here

2009: A Body And A Press Conference in San Antonio?

I'm starting to lose track of how many times Rick Dyer has claimed to possess a Bigfoot body. Is this number 3, or 4? I stumbled upon this gem by accident on the Bigfoot Forums. A member there found this old btr show from 2009. It's worth listening to the show and it's very reminiscent of current events surrounding Freezer Boy.
Recently Dyer has stated he made no money from the 2008 Georgia hoax, but in this radio show Dyer contradicts himself....again. Is Rick going to search the interwebs for every piece of information he has posted and delete it as well? Deleting his videos raises the red flags and bullshit meter to extraordinary heights.
Dyer is on the local news and at least one paper in the U.K. has grabbed a hold of the story. Where is CNN?
Thanks go out the members of the The Bigfoot Forums for being so diligent in collecting items of interest.
Didn't Dyer say he saw a Bigfoot in 2009? The Ukraine wasn't mentioned. I think he's taking things from the past and fabricating events, but that's my opinion. The math gets easier every day.

Rick Dyer Exclusive Interview

I came across this exclusive interview with Rick Dyer that was posted to YouTube by this gentleman: smokeysmurf420420420 . I thought he did a great job asking all the important questions, and Dyer gives a tiny bit more information than he has anywhere else.
Since Ricky has removed all most all of his videos, I would like to note that Dyer says he saw a Bigfoot in 2009. Later radio shows from 2010 show this to be a false statement by Rick.
According to Dyer, his investors either bought, or gave him the cash to purchase the 2013 Navigator. Casino owners want to buy the dead Bigfoot, and CNN is going to cover the story.
All that, and more is in this interview with Freezer Boy.

Rick Dyer Pulls His Videos!

I noticed this just moments ago. I was scrolling down on my blog and thought one of the video links looked odd. When I clicked on the play button I got this:

I have seen other people other people do sort of thing and I can come to only one conclusion. These videos were removed to hide all of Dyer's contradictions regarding his Bigfooting past, and the discrepancies in his statements.
Now that Freezer Boy has made national and international news, Rick must be feeling some heat. Why remove these videos? If the videos are truthful and honest, there is not one single reason to remove them.

I have caught Rick in more lies than I can count, and now he has resorted to hiding the facts. Facts that were uttered from his own mouth, and on video no less.
Obviously this removes some content from my blog. If anyone managed to save any of the San Antonio expedition videos, please email them to me at racer-x@hushmail.com. If you have the videos posted somewhere, a link would be appreciated. Credit will be duly given.
Back to the story. Last year Finding Bigfoot went to visit a certain "researcher" in Ohio who claimed to have good video of a Bigfoot shaking a tree. About a month before the crew came to visit, this person scrubbed their channel. This shed a very bad light on the individual being covered by the crew.
Rick Dyer has scrubbed his channel. What he is trying to hide are the FACTS!
This guy is a hoaxer, a liar and a conman. Now he is hiding the TRUTH. No amount of jaw flapping can excuse him.

Doubtful News: The Bigfoot bandwagon

The author of Doubtful News has weighed in on the Dyer dead Bigfoot story, and no punches are being pulled. I enjoyed the article, not because I think Rick is hoaxing, I liked it because the author gets right to the heart of the matter.

"Second, Dyer has ZERO credibilty. Considering his prior activities, his attitude, his secrecy… there is no reason to give him the time of day. It’s a huge uphill battle to repair such a tarnished history. This story about shooting Bigfoot has been circulating in the Sasquatch circles for months now but has been roundly pooh-poohed. DN is bringing this out now because it hit the main news outlet in San Antonio, probably because Bigfoot is a hot topic right now. Also, it’s a reminder that news is entertainment."

Bigfootology Gives Their Opinion: Dyer Kill

A comment on the Dyer-kill…
I think it is time to make a post about this Dyer killing a Bigfoot situation. As you have probably noticed Bigfootology has been very quiet about this. Historically with our contacts across the nation and around the world we are able to quickly spot a hoax and through analysis squash such things and even though Dyer has a history of such things one thing that I tell people from a psychologist's perspective is that people who lose face will do just about anything to save face, including killing. A couple of our Bigfootology team members, myself and some others, caught wind of this months ago, even before it became public, but remained silent until we could learn more from the insiders who were talking to us as to not risk losing those contacts. Our immediate reaction is disbelief because of Dyer's involvement but the problem is that we have yet find anything to discredit the story and that is problematic. The similar problem happened with the tent-video and I usually provide analysis in various places about videos that I look at and in the case of the tent-video it struck me because I have seen that particular Bigfoot before in a drawing some years ago that I have saved somewhere on my computer and when I analyzed the video more closely I knew that this subject was not wearing sunglasses as some have claimed, because it mimics the prominent brow that my old friend, the late Dr. Grover Krantz, made to simulate the prominent brow structure.

I posted/stated that I was perplexed by the tent-video and how much it looked like an actual drawing of a Bigfoot that I have seen before and that I could not dismiss it so quickly or easily as others have.

After these months of following this situation and working behind the scenes we have still not found anything to discredit the claim and some facets of the claim have actually been validated. This is either the greatest and most elaborate hoax ever or it is a real situation and Bigfootology, at the moment, is leaning towards the whole event being real but we still are leery of the situation because of who is involved, and we are waiting for further validation. We have a credible history of honest and fair evaluation of evidence regardless of who it comes from so taking us up on this offer will help Dyer if the claim is credible, or put this to rest as the hoax that many believe this is. In this case, at this time after months of digging into this with people behind-the-scenes, it is still unclear to us. This is not so cut and dry.

Bigfootology is a highly respected and credible scientific organization and we have offered to come and inspect the body and provide an analysis and credible third-party validation of the body and we are hoping that Dyer will take us up on our availability to substantiate the claims.

There is a lot more going on than just this and for now this will suffice. As we learn more we will discuss more. Either way, hoax or real, the answers are coming quickly.

Rhettman
Bigfootology

This person is thinking the same thing I am.

Rick claims to have contacted the proper authorities regarding his kill, but he fails to mention this agency. I would think the first department to contact would be the TPWD
According to the TPWD, Bigfoot is a myth and does not exist.

"There are no Bigfoot or Sasquatch, more myths than anything such as Nessie the Lochness monster or a chupacabra, is a legendary cryptid rumored to inhabit parts of the Americas. The name comes from the animal's reported habit of attacking and drinking the blood of livestock, especially goats and stories run rampant throughout the state.

Please contact the sheriff office or SAPD on this clam"

The Bexar County Sheriff's department said, based on the location I gave them, that this is out of their jurisdiction.

"As I look at your information, it appears this activity was in the city limits. So you’ll need to contact the San Antonio Police Department."

I have not contacted the SAPD about this, maybe someone who lives in the area would be bold enough to inquire via telephone.

"Thank you for contacting the city of San Antonio. The type of information you are seeking would be available by conducting a survey through the San Antonio Police Department. Please call the Records division at 210-207-7598 for information on how to order this survey.

Have a good day."

Bigfootology doesn't say who they have spoken with, but I am wondering if they have contacted any of the departments listed above. If Dyer did contact an official, or proper authority, which department would it be? I highly doubt there is a dead Bigfoot hotline, so the options are limited.

Dyer on the News

I thought Rick said he wasn't going to make any more statements about his dead Bigfoot. Freezer Boy lasted three days until he got himself on television to talk about his great kill.
I gave him a week before his next last statement came out. I suppose I was too generous.
Take a look at the above photo, it's the exact location I pin pointed in an earlier post here .

Dyer said this wasn't the area where he killed the alleged Bigfoot, but the news report said he baited the same area.

Rick just can't help himself, he has to talk about this to anyone who will listen to him. Maybe he's trying to upstage the recent news on Melba Ketchum's DNA paper.

Rick Dyer Makes Last Statement Until Release

It appears that Rick has cooled his jets, or someone managed to calm him down. Dyer had this to say on his blog tonight:

"Since September the 6th of 2012, I have experienced some of the highest highs and some of the lowest lows that human emotions are capable of. And since that day I have struggled with withholding or releasing information. I have tried to maintain the confidentiality that is necessary for my situation and at the same time, I understand that my supporters and even my detractors have a legitimate desire to know, at least part of what’s going on."

You can read the full post here: Bigfoot Evidence News

This pleases me. Now I can start to do some more digging in to this whole ordeal. I wonder how long Rick will be able to go before he feels the need to tell us more.

FB/FB: Dyer is 2012 Award Recipient

Rick Dyer has been awarded "2012 Bigfoot Field Researcher of the Year" by FB/FB. It's their shiny trophy, so I suppose FB/FB can give it to whomever they please.
The Bigfoot community doesn't have an official agency that recognizes the works of field researchers, or the works of many other people with an interest in Sasquatch, so some groups bestow it upon themselves to announce their picks.
I can think of many people who would deserve this award. Paul Hulsey, Scott Carpenter, Cliff Barackman, James Fay, Tim Stover and even Tim Fasano. All of these people have videos that show them in the woods doing research.
Granted, none of them have a 1.2 second video of an alleged Bigfoot and a wild story to go with it.
I haven't seen any videos of Rick in the woods setting trail cams, or recording wildlife, or of Rick trudging through the forests. I had a look at Dyer's YouTube channel:

All I see is the face of Rick Dyer. That's some field research going on.

People such as Derek Randles, Randy Brisson, and Scott Carpenter have contributed samples to a DNA study. Where is their award?
